3 tips for the engaged bride that you must read

3 tips for the engaged bride that you must read

A few tips for brides from the wise…

Many of your will be giddy with excitement having become engaged - and rightly so!  It is very exciting time in your lives - hopefully the excitement is contagious throughout your family and friends.  It can also be a very confusing time where well meaning people are giving unsolicited advice (just wait until you decide to start a family!… )

We thought that we would share 3 of our tips to help steer you through your engagement period.

Please remember, one…step…at… a …. time: After the excitement and glitter of the ring on your finger has subsided a little it is tempting to get the venue, dress, car, photographer, all chosen, booked, done an dusted immediately.  There is no rush…

Suppliers hear the word ‘wedding’ and the price increases:  I disagree with this notion, it is a popular one that the media would like you to believe so that they achieve their ratings.  The wedding industry is a very competitive market, today’s brides are knowledgeable and savvy, especially with so much information available on the internet.  If a business is putting their price up when they here ‘that word’ they won’t last.

Last tip - please try and relax.  This is a very special time in your life, to be shared with your partner, friends and family - nothing is worse than a bridezilla. I can guarantee some little thing will not turn out exactly as you had planned on your big day, please do not let this over shadow the real reason for the day - you are getting married to the person you wish to share your life with.
