Sarah's Vintage wedding at Rafferty's Resort Lake Macquarie
Vintage has been quite a popular theme for the past couple of years.  Who can forget collecting all the vegemite jars to display the garden flowers?  Or, who can remember scavenging the local op shop for Grandmas crystal cut pieces?
Today we are sharing these images of Sarahs and Mitch's wedding at Raffertys Resort that we styled for her in February.  Her wedding ceremony featured burlap and lace covered Mason jars overflowing with babys breath, a rustic arch with flowers and twine by the wonderful Peter Herd Florist.
Make sure you leave a comment below if you love this wedding!
White folding chairs, and a rose petal aisle were arranged against the magnificent backdrop of Lake Macquarie.
Paramount Event Hire created a lemonade stand out of our wine barrels, with our wooden plank across the top on which we rested the refreshments provided by Sarah.  Our drink dispenser and wine party buckets ensured that Sarah's guests were kept hydrated with cool drinks.
Our french provincial signing table, with our Tiffany chairs completed the outdoor vintage style for ceremony.  Once inside the reception, Sarah provided thongs for tired guests feet and our black board sign. 'A little treat for your dancing feet.  Grab a pair and leave your excuses under the table'.
The reception also featured a delicious grazing table of exotic cheeses and assorted hors doeuvres.  The bride and groom wanted a cocktail style reception - guest tables were decorated individually with a selection of vintage pieces, burlap table runners, and fresh flowers by Peter Herd.
Our vintage ladder took pride of place at the entry and was styled with tealights and fresh flower heads.  Whilst our peg board proudly displayed vintage photos of family.

Are you that inspirational Bride?

A wedding supplier will often be inspired by a particular bride.  A bride that shows such creativity, originality and sense of one's own style, that we can't be helped but admire her.  We are always privileged to assist, advise - be a sounding board to every bride that chooses to share her day with us.

Paramount Event hire was fortunate to be selected to decorate by one such bride recently - Sophie.  Sophie held her Vintage themed wedding at Fort Scratchley Function Centre October, 2012.  We were immediately stuck by Sophie's smile, laugh and her vision for her wedding day.  Sophie's mum, Kelly, was a joy to work along side with, and was actively involved in creating her daughter's wedding reception.  We were so inspired by the possibilities of the centrepieces that Sophie created, we decided to share the original, plus a variation that we showcased at Rafferty's Resort Bridal fair last Sunday.
