Wedding Ceremony - Tips from a Celebrant, ignore at your peril! Reminder!

Coming into wedding season again, and we thought that we would re publish this post.... It was some great tips regarding wedding ceremonies!

I had a really interesting conversation in the Paramount Event Hire Showroom with one the Hunter Valley' s most prominent celebrants -  Fiona from Heart Felt Occasions.  Fiona made a comment that really resonated with me  - she stressed the importance of the wedding ceremony for setting the scene and tone for your the rest of your wedding day.  Fiona commented 'I have seen so many couples skimp on such items such as chairs for their guests, often borrowing mis-matched ones from friends.  Or not paying any attention to decorating the aisle - a simple bamboo arch, or carpet that signals to the guests exactly where you will be walking down the aisle and 'here comes the bride'.

Mel and Greg's stunning wedding at Fort Scratchley

Every so often a wedding comes along that has been so long in the planning, that you cannot believe that it is finally happening!  Mel and Greg's wedding at Fort Scratchley on Friday 1st November, was one such celebration.  We absolutely loved assisting Mel with styling and decorating her wedding.

Mel chose a stunning sophisticated theme of Black, beige, white, crystal and mirrored accents.  Mel chose beige tablecloths with a faint sheen, ruffled beige bridal table skirting, with beige and white chair tie back ruffles, finished with a round diamante buckle on the white Tiffany chairs

Super cute country wedding ideas

Are you looking for wine barrels with a plank between them, like our image below taken at a recent wedding at Ironbark Hill Vineyard at Pokolbin?  Great for a lemonade stand!  Compliments our rustic wooden black board as well.

Vintage by the Seashore

Vintage by the Seashore was the inspiration behind Sarah and Nathan's beautiful ceremony at King Edward Park.  Paramount Event Hire was fortunate to work with the talented Jade from Jade McIntosh flowers, whom created a classic combination of lace, vases and fresh flowers to adorn the sides of the white Tiffany (also known as chiavari) chairs.  Sarah arranged for Paramount to place a small black board in the garden bed, near the ceremony site, she even provided us with witches hats to place on the ground so there was ample room for her cars to pull up at the Park.

The Reception then continued on at Cooks Hill SLSC, were Garth Ashford's team from Talulah's at the Junction created a divine cocktail style menu.  Paramount Event hire bought in white Tiffany chairs, cocktail tables and bar stools.  The bride requested that the Paramount Team cover some of the honour boards in the club, and install fairy lights around the balconies and dance floor area.  Whilst Jade McIntosh completed the Vintage inspired centrepieces.

Hi Louise!
Thank you so much for everything!
What an amazing day!
We had the best day ever and everything was perfect!
The surf club looked great!

Thank you again Louise,
Just amazing!

Sarah xxx
